Determining lug pattern can be done a few ways. You can check your owner’s manual or measure the distance between the bolt holes on your wheel hub. We also have a handy resource on our website that lists the most popular fitments. Still unsure? Give us a call, and our team can guide you to the right info.
Each package includes four wheels and four tires, which we mount and Hunter Road Force balance before shipping. Delivery is free to the lower 48 states. Lug nuts and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) sensors are optional add-ons, since different vehicles may require different hardware. If you purchase TPMS sensors with your package, we’ll install them at no extra charge so they arrive ready to roll.
We handle all the balancing at our facility, so your set should be good to go right out of the box. Simply install them on your vehicle, test drive, and if you notice anything off—give us a call. We’ll help you troubleshoot any concerns to ensure a smooth ride.
While we recommend professional installation, you can certainly do it at home if you’re comfortable. Here are some guidelines:
Following these steps will help prevent damage to your lugs or wheels.
In most cases, no. Aftermarket wheels usually require a specific style of lug nut for proper fitment, and the original lug wrench may be too large to fit inside the lug hole. Check our lug nut kits at checkout or contact us to ensure you get the right hardware for a safe and proper installation.
Hub rings are small, circular adapters placed inside the wheel bore to match the diameter of your vehicle’s hub. They help center the wheel during installation and can reduce minor vibrations—especially important if your car uses lug bolts (common in some European models). Whether you need them depends on the size of the wheel’s center bore and your hub size.
The center bore is the large hole in the middle of the wheel that fits onto your vehicle’s hub. Most aftermarket wheels are made with a slightly larger center bore so they can fit different makes and models. If it’s bigger than your hub size, hub rings can help ensure a snug fit.
The load range (or load index) measures a tire’s strength and how much weight it can safely carry. It’s usually indicated by letters (e.g., C, D, E) on light truck and SUV tires—the further along the alphabet, the higher the capacity. Refer to your owner’s manual or your original tire’s sidewall to see which load range is recommended for your vehicle.
Offset is the distance (in millimeters) from the wheel’s centerline to the mounting pad. A positive offset sits the wheel further inward, closer to the vehicle. A negative offset pushes the wheel outward, giving a deeper lip. Backspacing is the distance (in inches) from the mounting pad to the wheel’s inner edge. Getting these measurements right is key to ensuring proper clearance and achieving the look you want.
Think of your wheels like your car’s paint—regular cleaning goes a long way. Use a mild car shampoo, soft sponge or microfiber cloth, and rinse thoroughly. You can also apply a protective wax or wheel sealant. Avoid harsh cleaners and abrasive brushes, which might damage the finish.
Chrome wheels have a bright, mirror-like finish, but generally need consistent waxing to prevent corrosion—especially in areas with harsh winters or salty roads. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) wheels have a finish closer to a powder-coated surface. They’re slightly darker than traditional chrome but usually more durable. PVD wheels should only be cleaned with soap and water to keep them looking their best.
TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) alerts you when your tire pressure drops too low. Vehicles sold after 2007 often come factory-equipped with TPMS. If your vehicle uses sensors, it’s best to include new ones with your wheel & tire package to avoid warning lights and maintain system functionality. Unsure if your vehicle has TPMS? Get in touch with us and we’ll help you figure it out.
If your vehicle is TPMS-equipped, follow the recommended psi on the door jamb placard or in your owner’s manual. If not, check your manual or consult with our team for suggested pressures based on your tire size and load range.
